Sharon Barfoot’s passion for arts have been fueled by over 35 years of working as a curator, publisher, artist, trainer, lecturer and as a designer in professional theater. She is an artist and printmaker residing in rural Ontario, Canada. Working on panel, canvas, paper, Yupo and mylar, her process-based work explores gestural mark making, building surfaces and the layering of materials. The principles of wabi-sabi and miksang are predominent in her working style.
